What is Internet Service Provider (ISP)?

An Internet Service Provider, or ISP, is a company that provides access to the internet. You'd normally pay a fixed monthly fee for access to the internet via the ISP. Each ISP will provide a different set of services - some will provide a free email service, some will provide faster download speeds, and some will limit the amount you can download from the internet each month. Your choice of ISP will depend on how you use the internet. Note: don't say "ISP provider", because P already stands for provider!
