Bandwidth

The higher a broadband channels bandwidth, the more information it is able to transmit. The higher the bandwidth, the more data that can be carried over a network in a given period of time. In the context of broadband, bandwidth is usually measured in kilobits or megabits per second (bandwidth can have other meanings in different technical fields)
